Today is October 3rd for all the Mean Girl fans out there, it was also the Midlands Ballroom AGM. This is our first face to face meeting in well over a year due to COVID-19.
Thank you to everyone that came to support the area it was truly appreciated.
Your committee for Sep 2021 to 2022 has been voted, see above for more detailed list of committee members and their roles. There was lots discussed at the meeting today with issues being raised by members to the committee such as how to increase numbers in dance schools, hall closures and more. The meeting began at noon and closed at 4pm, fueled by biscuits, tea and mini rolls.
We have began to map out the upcoming dance year, setting some dates and reaching out to venues. We will start to confirm our plans over the next couple of weeks, so make sure you look in on our social media or webpage regularly.
It is fantastic to start finally giving members and dancers some positive dance news. Long may this continue.
