Sharron Moncaster
Sharron started her dancing career at the age of 4 learning Ballet, Tap, Ballroom and Latin dancing. At the age of 7 Disco Dancing hit the scene and Sharron become involved and loved competing in this new genre which later included Rock ‘n’ Roll.
At the age of 19 Sharron stopped competing and turned Professional and started studying for her IDTA qualifications. She opened her own dancing school in 1994, teaching children and adults all genres of the Ballroom Branch. She runs an active school where her students have the opportunity to participate in IDTA awards and social competitions.
Over the years Sharron has continued her studies and has become a Fellow Member of the IDTA in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle. She is also a Licentiate Member in Viennese Waltz and Rock ‘n’ Roll and continues her Licentiate Sequence Studies.
In 2017 Sharron qualified as a British Dance Council Scrutineer and has become a member of the IDTA. Members Committee. Sharron full time occupation is committed to dance and has enjoyed tutoring her son to compete in the Open Circuit.
